We are Josie and George, a local couple with a background as mental health professionals. We have a long term interest and passion for local and naturally grown food.
We run a regenerative market garden at the edge of the village of Treuddyn in Flintshire.
Our produce is grown in permanent no-dig beds,
cultivated without synthetic chemicals, machinery or tillage, and is supplemented with locally sourced seasonal produce before being delivered to you in our veg boxes.
Our mission is to share the well-being impacts of growing and eating fresh, natural produce with the local community.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do the veg boxes include?
Both our regular and small veg boxes always include potatoes, carrots and onions, as well as a mix of local, seasonal vegetables and salad items.
We let those who are signed up for our mailing list know the contents of our next veg boxes the week beforehand. You can sign up for our mailing list here.
Our regular veg boxes include 8-9 items, and are suitable for 3-4 people, and our small veg boxes contain 5-6 items in smaller amounts, suitable for 1-2 people.
Are the veg boxes organic?
Although we are not registered organic, due to the cost as well as the red tape involved (e.g. we would not be allowed to use local well rotted manure when preparing our veg beds), all of our produce is grown without the use of artificial pesticide, herbicides or fertilizers.
Do you deliver to me?
We deliver within approx 7 miles of our field in Treuddyn, CH7 4LU.

How much do your veg boxes cost?
Our regular veg boxes cost £15 including delivery, and our small veg boxes are £10, again this includes delivery costs.
What if I don’t like an item of veg in my next box, or I would prefer a box without potatoes?
Please just get in touch with us and we will try to help!
As we are a small, local business rather than a national company we are always happy to change items in your box for others that we may have growing at the time.
What if I am unhappy with my box/an item of veg is not of the quality that I expected?
Please get in touch with us if this is the case and we will do our best to help.
Although we are careful to sort through the veg prior to packing it, occasionally our ‘quality control’ may miss something! If this is the case we would be more than happy to replace the item or give a partial or full refund.
